You would want some good stone protection for the front of that thing. Imagine the chips in the gel coat. Also what’s with all the poles on the tent.

If they are all assembled during the raising of the tent you would need to be a ‘meccano set’ master to get all the bits in the right place :D

Hi Guys,  Been a member for a while, but not really involved.  Then saw this post and thought I should respond.  Mostly since I designed the camper.

Saw this ad pop up on a webpage before..  Quick look looks fairly Camprite with a shiney body?
The bedding layout is like the Camprite and a few other trailers before that.  But pretty much most other things are different.  For example the tailgate and steps are a different concept and so are how the fridge and kitchen work.

How does the door work, or  is it just zipped ???
The canvas door is zipped closed both sides.  But the sides are also held by the kitchen and fridge carriers so its pretty well fixed.

You would want some good stone protection for the front of that thing. Imagine the chips in the gel coat. Also what’s with all the poles on the tent.
Thought about stone impact right from the start of design, because we dont want a separate stone guard for normal use.  Front facing surfaces face downwards to help prevent bounce back on to the car.   Also Raptor coat on the lower front facing surfaces for stone protection.  Also did a fair bit of testing of panels exposed to stone impact.  Found that gelcoat is far more resistant to stone damage than paint (think about a fiberglass boat running up on the shore all the time).  But also now swapped to white by default, as this shows less scuffing when a stone does hit.  But I would also recommend something like Stone Stompers in some conditions.

If they are all assembled during the raising of the tent you would need to be a ‘meccano set’ master to get all the bits in the right place :D
Its all pretty easy to put up.  There are bows that hinge off the body and go up with the canvas.  And spreader bars that clip into position.  There is only 3 types of spreaders and you really cant get them mixed up.  No need to adjust anything, just unfold and clip in the poles.  I usually say it takes 5 minutes, but I can do it in 3.5 if I try.  That's from totally packed up to ready for an overnight stop including bedding (excluding stabilisers).  We did lots of work on the canvas design to get it this fast (or easy), and am still making some improvements.

Lots more I could say, but will keep it to responding to comments/questions.
