Calling on the MySwag community for help.
I just arrived in Darwin today and need some welding repairs done to my bike rack.
It's a very basic repair to re-weld broken section and add some bracing.
We are going to stay in Darwin Free Spirit Resort until the 2nd July.
If anyone knows where I should go to get the repairs done or if anyone is a backyard DIYer to help me out that would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Nathan

Hi Nathan,
When we were in Darwin a few weeks ago, there was a "Mobile Caravan Repairer" in our park working on a couple of vans, you might ask the park manager, if they can't fix it they will most likely be able to point you in the right direction.... I bet is busy up there now!!!!

Not a back yarder -- but a excellent welder and general engineering shop at a reasonable price

That free spirit is a great camp ground.
Make sure you call into the bark hut...it's not a bad place to stay either.
Mary river park or resort or somethings on the other side of the road from the bark hut and worth a stay too.a little more expensive than the former but the grounds are beautiful and it's right on the river...great restaurant too.
As for the welding there's alot of industrial areas close to you at free spirit but I never used anyone there

Thanks for your help everyone.
I managed to get onto a bloke called Lachlan who was recommended from a local engineering supplies workshop.
He done the job the next morning for me so its all fixed now. Time will tell if I need to make further modifications to the rack to make sure it doesn't happen again.
