Let's go one further with Mandatory Minimum Sentencing.

Pottsy, as you have inferred, there must be a blocking of any chance the magistrate exercises a choice on their part.
In Vic. they added except in exceptional circumstances to the 'Mandatory part'.
That apparently gave the Magistrates License to do whatever they felt like.

As for our idiot leaders increasing the maximum sentence for food tampering to 15 years, why not introduce a minimum sentence. How often are maximum sentences handed out by our soft centred magistrates?

Yeah tough talk from Scomo will fix it.
Already had laws with a 10 year penalty, and its bumped up to 15.
Thats gunna work. Just like dealers getting 25 years is working to cut the meth problem.

You see these filthy talons encroaching upon your space on a plane.

What do you do?

A. Stab it with your plastic spork.
B. Turn around and bash it in the face.
C. Take a photo and shame it on social media.
D. All of the above.

Maybe call the flight attendance and ask him or her to deal with it? But I do prefer the fork idea.
200 Series 2008, bull bar, Airmax snorkel, rack with 200 watt solar, third battery, winch, 33's with 2 spares, long range tank, drawers & barrier, bash plates, lifted & locked, Richards transmission lockup plus plenty of dings. Now towing the new Off Road Glamper.

Magistrates might be getting an extra 2 weeks holidays a year. Seems that they suffer burnout from all the hard decisions they have to make. Like which hand do they have to get the slap on for punching someone in the head and killing them. it's a hard job and they only get $311,000 a year for it. Talk about a waste of time and money.

Did you see the outcome of the car chase in Sydney yesterday with the 4 teenagers. The driver, a 14 yo, gets home detention, won't make any difference, as he as laughing as he was walking out. His family look like a pack of Shit cnts, so it won't make any difference. Our judicial system here is a joke. Judges should be held accountable, cops are only paid to issue fines, crooks allowed to walk the streets.

Tastes nothing like chicken.....?

OK, can the internet read my mind now?
I was watching the latest project Binky episode yesterday where they lay out the wiring loom and check it and remove the bits they don't need.  They used a little tool to pop out the plug terminals and I thought "that would be handy at times"
Now I didn't google them. I didn't look for them on ebay. Simply thought about them.

Lo and behold, I get a Wish ad pop up this morning.... With a terminal tool.... Spooky.....??

OK, can the internet read my mind now?

The gear selector bush in my Sierra disintegrated out on the tracks a few months ago, I bodgied up a replacement with a piece of mud flap which worked a treat (and is still in the gearbox now).
I have never searched on line for a replacement, but for weeks afterwards every time I typed Sierra into Gumtree all of the paid ads in between the items for sale were for Sierra gearbox bushes.
Spooky aye...

Only concerning thing is this week the ads have all been for replacement door handles. Might be telling me something...

Probably other people who watched the episode did, hence they watched it and searched, as you watched it the algorithm thinks you will likely be interested too.

Ok,

WTF do people take their phone to the toilet to have a Shit?
Me,

In, out, jobs done.
I don't need to communicate with anyone while taking a dump.

That there is the correct answer.
People are addicted to thinking they are missing out on something.
A few years ago on trip with Swaggers and club members,
We are in a long way from nowhere, and some were complaining about having no reception.
You numpties, that's the idea, we are getting away from the rest of the world,
