Geez, looks like the light stuff was too heavy for that side of the shed. Did you get it back up the right way yet?

Finishing my demonstration horse for Lost Trades so people can see what I am trying to achieve as I am hacking into lumps of wood. The bridle, reins & saddle were my first attempt at leather work. I was tutored through the process by Bill Webb who will also be at Lost Trades.
I once asked a bloke how hard it was to make a rocking horse, his reply, simple, just take a lump of wood and knock of all the bits that don't look like a horse!

Great project by the way, we'll done

Built a new BMX race bike for mt oldest grandson .

This has taken me a while to get to the point of the build .

Started off ordering a new Bombshell Carbon Fiber wheel set.

Then ordered a Factory GT Carbon Fiber frame and forks , along with a set of Speedline carbon fiber cranks .

Over the past month the seat , brakes and all of the other stuff arrived .

Time to build the bloody thing .

I had an old bike carry rack sitting around , so I welded a bracket to a shed post to hold the bike rack . Clamp the frame into the rack and ready for the build .

First thing was to make a special puller tool to fit the crank adapter, then assemble and fit the cranks , rear wheel and chain .

Next was to fit the carbon forks , again I had to machine up a tool to fit the bottom bearing race into place . Starting to look like a race bike .

Time to fit the bars, brakes , front wheel and seat .

Very happy with the end result , 700 gms lighter than Kallum's current GT race bike and with luck I can still cut around 150 gms off the bike weight

Putting the canopy in the new shed. Welded the legs as it was tearing the arms off em lifting the canopy off.

After 4 years owning the camper, it’s now inside the shed.

Every year the canopy gets heavier. More and more gear needed to take to site. It’s mainly the rigging gear needed to do my job. Think it’ll be going onto a trailer along with the site boxes.
