Is australia playing America?

no, south efrica are playing America...

Why should they play like men? They still have CA contracts worth a squillion. As long as their hair isn't out of place they are happy... looking good is more important.

if it was performance based, they would give a Shit.

Ch 9 are loving this.. they are in discussions on the next Tv deal...

I reckon they may even break the $10 barrier for the next contract!

It will be interesting to see if Leman & Marsh keep their jobs after this test.
The selectors have to have a question mark hanging over their heads too.

Love The Age commentary

"FOUR! Warner doesn't dive and my colleague erupts saying - "If he doesn't dive, it means he has also given up!"
Fuller in length and outside off, de Kock leans into it and drives it just past mid off.
Warner doesn't dive as the ball goes through.
Warner gives it a chase and then puts in a dive to scoop the ball back but to no avail."

LOL!

The definition of optimism is an Australian cricketer putting on sunscreen when going out to bat.

Maybe the Australian Woman's Team should front up for the next Test. They aren't over paid, the don't have over inflated egos and they can all score more than 1 run per over!

10am: Sutherland says Marsh is going nowhere

4pm: Marsh gone.. but not pushed or asked to go.
http://www.theage.com.au/sport/cricket/rod-marsh-quits-as-cricket-australias-chairman-of-selectors-20161116-gsqr6y.html

panic meeting called already for tonight to jam *someone* into the spot without sitting back and thinking about it.

There was no choice.
He knew it, he's step down for the good of the game, IMHO.
Doesn't what to be seen as the problem.

""It is time for some fresh thinking, just as it is for our Test team to welcome some new faces as we build for the future," Marsh said"

Wouldn't that be nice.
