Bag awnings straps

The other day I was tighting bag awning when both straps just disintergrated in my hand
Is it worth trying to replace bag and straps or can I fix another way

The straps would of been polypropylene, which does not like UV.

Go to your local canvas guy and get them replaced using seat belt webbing, 25mm.

Second on the seatbelt webbing.  Had to do this myself after only 12 months and my brother in laws fell apart less than a month later at a similar age.  Much better than originally there.  Found a local canvas company to so it.
