Hi,
I would go for a jacket. I was most envious of a Milwaukee heated jacket on our last snow trip.
Cheers

Go the real tree!!!
Should fit in with the locals in CQ tonight!! Toasty even without the batteries.
There are seat warmers already but i find you slip down the material constantly and end up with a sore back,  These are the 2 types we have.

That is a very accurate statement.

Have never used them so have nothing to offer on advice. The king goanna to me looks to be a more comfortable chair but how do the pouches get hot and wonder how long they stay that way for. Do like the idea of the gobiheat with a small battery though.

Let us know what you decide or even if you find some other options

Am going to a caravan and camping show at Maitland tomorrow so might see if any of these are there and give them a try. If OK I might see if I can sneak a purchase pass the wife (easier to ask forgiveness rather than permission)

Well I went to the show and was looking for these just in case the forthcoming cold snap preparation overtook me and I needed to purchase.

The only I could find was a Koala https://www.snowys.com.au/koala-hotspot-lounge-chair?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIy6KTr8mG-AIVwZpmAh1rsAmMEAQYASABEgKMCvD_BwE

Sat in it and it was plenty wide enough but i like the ones with the higher back so wasn't for me. Couldn't find anyone that had any time to discuss it further (they were too busy taking everyone's money) so I had to walk away.

I’ve got the Oztent Redbelly hotspot which is the light weight magnesium frame version of the King Goanna.
The insulated material on these chairs make them unusable on a hot day. The fabric doesn’t breath and your marinating in your own sweat within minutes. One day I’ll try it with a sheep skin on it and see if that helps. Also, with the magnesium frame, it’s a great weight saver but on a day with any sort of wind an unattended chair near a campfire isn’t going to end well for the chair.
Cheers,
Paul
