Hi, We bought the ebay one last year to shift the boat around the side of the house. Unfortunately it also needs to push uphill and a grass surface. To make it worse, the tyres on the trailer aren't the widest they could be. Even with the lug tyres we have, the wheels will start to spin and you go nowhere. Latest project was a winch mounted on the front so when it starts to slip you engage the winch and it walks it into the garage. We made a Y harness that goes between the two rear uprights for the winch to attach to. If you have flat ground or perhaps concrete, pretty sure it would do the job.  Boat on its trailer is around 1300kg. I'll post a couple of pics later.

Hi,
A mate uses his skid steer Torro digger with a solid bolt as a towball in the blade of the scoop.
Yep, overkill to the max, but it works well.
Cheers

We went with, price wise at least, one of the upper echelon of these devices 8) 3240kg van
https://optitec.com.au/product/optitec-v3-remote-control-jockey-wheel/

Didn’t work on a damp grass surface with a slight slope. After Concreting driveway up the same slope, works very well.

The pictures are hosted from the Myswag gallery so I'm not sure why some cant see them. The mover can't push the boat uphill on the grass so the winch is used in conjunction with the mover itself to get the boat into the garage. In the battery box is a 560 AH Marine battery to handle both the winch and the mover's current. Our problem is the alignment of the the garage, boundary fence and house. When the mate had the smaller tinnie, we used the Ride on mower with a towbar and putting the boat in was no problem at all. He upgraded the boat and it was out of the rideon's ability. Hence the mover with the winch.
