Vintage Laptop parts shout out
« on: June 06, 2014, 10:02:25 PM »
I have an old Asus laptop and wondering if any swaggers around brissy have an IDE 2.5" hard drive (that still works) they were thinking about chucking out.
Apparently no none really sells the things any more so they must be vintage right?
Only other thing wrong with the laptop is the battery is shot but if you do have a drive lying about that I can re-format and get this thing going again please PM me?
thanks!

I might have one that I have converted into a external 20 gig drive, send me a reminder next week as I am away for a few days now.

How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?  (Homer J Simpson).
