Hi guys,
I can tell you the video posted on our Facebook page, belonged to deluxhilux, and Ian will be looking at your trailer soon big thread. The axel is fine so don't worry about that.
As for hub temp being a reliable indicator of bearing failure ............ Yes it is a sign something is not right, it could be the wheel bearing are adjusted incorrectly or the wheel bearing has an in-perfection in it, causing friction which causes the heat.
Don't be tricked by brake temp, best way to know if your wheel bearing are in good order, is an inspection, by Tambo Camper Trailers for your Tambo's or your local trailer repair center for other camper trailer.
