On the weekend we did the Silvan Funduro run by Rocky Trail.

It sure was a wet one but an awesome way to spend the day on the bike.

Looks like a whole lot of fun. The trails would have been very slippery.

Learnt the hard way this morning why sram tell you not to reuse powerlock joiners ! About 10km into the ride chain undone whilst backing off and shifting , more good like than good planing I fortunately had a spare link with me!

Side note  I paid $10 for a joiner instore at pushies and they are $5 online at pushies !

I've never had a problem with reusing them. Then again, I don't buy SRAM chains or joiners.

Well done and if Masters in the MTB category is anything like Track racing, it's super competitive.

The worst thing was I cant claim the glory of it happening out on a hard downhill or pushing a flow trail to the limit. It was hitting a bunch of gravel on a corner on the bloody work commute

New bike day the other day, I got myself a Stages SmartBike for winter workouts. I didn't have an indoor trainer or a bike to put on a trainer so whilst expensive the SmartBike was the most cost effective option. I've been on a few Zwift rides getting used to it how it rides, mainly riding with the C grade pace bot which has been good. Looking to do a structured power building training plan. It is all about power on Zwift, there are no technical skills involved.
