Greetings from Jurien Bay W.A
« on: June 15, 2016, 06:57:38 PM »
Hi from an old man and new member.
Normo.
Lived in Jurien Bay for about 6 years. Before that Morawa for about 11. Tasmania (Deloraine) 11 Years. Before that Victoria with a bit of Canberra ans Darwin.
Vehicle rusty and dented Nissan Patrol 06 (still going) Camper trailer is a soft floor Downunder made in WA. Both these objects are like myself getting a bit long in the tooth. They have been on the Gibb River road Cape Levique and everything in between.
Yes Sandy Cape is a fantastic area (Bit of a shock last week most of the road in has been upgraded...Still nice camp sites. 12 km up the road it's still good.

We are new to WA as a family and were quickly caught in the SW. however our last trip was spent  in Ledge for WA day long weekend.  A Previous trip we were in Cervantes. Horrible van park for us. Sh*tful infact.  A trip to Jurien and Sandy Cape saved the trip. What an awesome place to stay!

Hi Normo,
Welcome to the forum.
Love Sandy Cape and was told by the caretaker at Easter a new section was to be built and the track north closed.
Understand the road in is closed due to weather - do you know much about what damage has occurred?
Regards
