The shame is it must have been someone in the know to take only what they did.

Matt

That is worst part. They knew what they wanted. Also tried to get into Pete's ( Kapiris ) container too. It's like a mate stealing from a mate  >:(

I have witnessed a couple of Tassie blokes have a few beers around the camp fire then they start talking drag racing and all of a sudden these 2 un named blokes get all excited. I am thinking there may be an accident between Datsun and Toyota here, but no, they duck into their CT's, get changed into their frocks and start sprinting around the camp.

So now I have found there is another form of drag racing out there.

It started a few months ago, with what I believe was some friendly chest puffing between mates bragging about their 4x4's and whose has more power. So Gup, (owner of Powercruise Promotions) told them to prove it, and offered to pay their entry to a test and tune. A few days before the TnT, he opened the free entry to anyone with a diesel.

Last night was the second time. Again he spotted the entry.

Looks like they must have had 100 bloody soot spilling, over exhausted pieces of snot turn up.  ;D

Put the old Ford Escort powered  N/A Diahatsu F-20 Scat down the 1/4 against a high boosted diesel turbo cruiser a few times...   7000 rpm on the green at launch pulled the left front wheel just off the deck and ran through 4 manual gear changes to a flat 19 sec 1/4 ... Compared to the Cruisers 26 sec pass for the 1/4  ... was pretty happy with that..
