The daily appreciation thread
« on: May 09, 2013, 05:36:56 PM »
I thought we'd better start a daily appreciation thread given we have a daily rant thread.

Top marks for customer service to Burke & Wills aka Australian Country Outfitters. I ripped the shoulder strap out of my 2 year old swag bag the other day. I sent them an email, they said drop it in and they'll fix it which they did no questions and no charge.  :cup:

Top idea for a new topic. I must give a cheer to ARB Maroochydore, got a new double swag off them the other day and received a fantastic discount and excellent service. Have used them now a few times for various stuff and each time top notch service with a few $$$ off the top. A pleasure to deal with. So thanks ARB team.

Big thanks to the guys at AL-KO who supplied me with a set of screw covers for the camper feet. The camper arrived with 1 cover missing and my OCD couldn't handle it. An email to AL-KO and they sent me some in the mail at no cost :cup:

Great service, and a nice little discount, from the guys at OZ RC when I went there today to buy my son his birthday present, a Traxxas Stampede 4x4 VXL.  Highly recommend for their friendly service.

Very funny.

Got Chris a Traxxas Stampede 4x4 VXL.   Also grabbed a 12V charger so we can take it camping.

Was wanting to post this feedback so this is a great spot.  Not being the most electrically minded I wanted to get an electric break controller installed. Having checked with the usual big name suspects I ended up contacting Glen from http://www.12voltguy.com.au

He ended up be more competitive, Great knowledge and service. I can highly recommend him.

A big thanks to the crew at Drifta Kitchens.

As some would know, I blew the regulator on our Primus stove at Gordon Country (lucky we could have a fire) and needed a replacement.  Went into local camping store to buy one and when waiting to pay noticed a sticker on a Primus stove saying 3 years warranty.  Put regulator back on shelf and came home to email Luke at Drifta.  3 days later, new hose and regulator in my mailbox.  Gotta be happy with that great service  :cup: :cup: :cup:  Thanks Drifta.

A big thanks to the guys at Tyredog (aka Zylux). I had a sensor reading 2 PSI high so I took it to them today, they tested it and agreed with me. My unit was 3 months out of warranty and I didn't take the receipt but they gave me a new sensor anyway :cup:

How tall is she?
Would it make it easier on her if the filler was 2 inches higher? ;)

Already got that sorted out to make filling easier for her and getting in and out as the seat is now hip high
and a bullbar to make parking by feel easier for her
and an awning to keep her skin nice and smooth
and a UHF so she can call for help
And a rear draw system to keep her shopping tidy
and a duel battery system to keep her champaign cold in the waeco
and a lightbar (coming) so she can open her champaign at night

See all my mods are for my wife i get nothing out of it at all 8)
