I used M55's on my 80 series with split rims and I used two sets on that vehicle.
I was exceptionally pleased in all respects with them.
In 2007 I changed vehicles to a 70 series V8 tray back and wore out the original rubber in 20000 kms.
I was going to replace them with m55's but they were $120 a corner more expensive than michelin LTX AT2 so I bought the michelins. I did complain to Toyo asking if there had been a typo in the price . No !
This week my son inlaw went chasing a set of M55's for his 100 series.
There has been a great reduction in price since my price in 2009 but there are none available between newcastle and tweed. There are four in maroochidore but they will not send them to NSW.
There are like hens teeth and most are spoken for by mining companies and farm vehicles.
They are a good strong tyre.

Received a email back today with the price of $317 each fitted & balanced on the splits + $40 for heavy duty Michelin tubes

I posted this topic on quite a few forums & just about all of the feedback has been positive as long as the vehicle they are fitted to is fairly heavy
