Hello from Tassie.
« on: March 01, 2015, 04:09:15 PM »
Hello camper trailer afficianados.
Bought my CT about 4 years ago, and love it. Best $1200 I ever spent!
Do regular 2-3 night trips fishing with mates, and a week-long trip with the wife every year.
The ones with wife are in caravan parks, as she likes hot showers and 240v...

My trailer is an old home-made one, based on a 2m x 2m trailer. When I go for more than one night I take a 3x3m gazebo for cooking etc. under.

It's been a great trailer, but starting to show it's age and wear and tear, so I hope to update some time this year.
Looking forwards to learning from you lot to help me make the right decision when buying.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Here's some pic's of the beast.

Set up in back yard when I first got it.

In the "wild" - Ansons Bay - will be spending the long weekend there:

Don't have any others on photobucket. Plenty of pics of the places I go, but not of the campsite itself.
I have replaced the rear panels and door with aluminium ones and reinforced where the sides meet the floor as the whole thing was sagging severely.
Should get another year or so out of it, but thinking an upgrade would be nice...
