Hello from the South West of Australia
« on: September 01, 2014, 12:52:41 PM »
Hello there, just thought I would do the right thing and introduce myself and my family. Me and the Mrs, with three sometimes lovely daughters, 2,4 & 6.

I have always been into camping and outdoor pursuits. Thankfully I found and developed a family around me who enjoy most of the same things. We did a bit of tent based camping and after a desert trip trip last year we decided it was time now to upgrade to a camper.

We already had what I regard as the best 4wd, a Nissan Patrol although it used to have a ZD30, after buying the camper it just wasn't cutting it so in doubled in cylinder numbers and over doubled in capacity. Yes that's right a 6.5 Chevy Diesel. It makes towing both on and off road solicitor easier and effortless.

I decided to go all in with the camper trailer purchase after researching many brands over the years we decided on purchasing a Kimberley Kamper Platinum. We have owned it for a year now and am in love with the kitchen they have. It just seems so much more in every way compared to a lot of others.

Thanks and hope to see people out on the tracks.

Regards

bornepatrol and family.

Welcome.
I have to agree with the KK, but totally disagree with your choice of vehicle.  ;D

Thanks. Yeah my in-laws would agree about you with the vehicle choice. Mind you I have my patrol for 7 years now and in that time each has traded at least 2 Toyotas, father in law gets a new one every second year. They rip into me a fair bit and they get it back too. It's all fun and games.
