New to the camper trailer scene
« on: October 27, 2016, 07:06:45 PM »
Gday guys thanks for the add.

My name is David and my wife and I are considering our first camper trailer. Ive gone through the stages of swags when I was single and when I met the missus we moved to the roof top tent. Now we are looking at longer trips we need to move towards the trailer.

My tow vehicle is a 2000 Toyota Landcruiser GXL cut down to a duel cab with a 6.5L chevy V8 so it shouldn't struggle to tow the trailer to wherever I want to take it.

The two choices I am looking at are the Johnnos JCT X-R15 step through and the Armadillo Arma XD. Does anyone on here have one I am chasing any real world reviews for them as my plan is to take these trailers up the cape, kimberly's and spend 75% of its time on the rutted gravel.

I am planning on the purchase at the Perth 4x4 and camping show in 3 weeks time so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Swainy

Hey David, you can't pass MDC Campers for $$$ http://www.marketdirect.com.au/  :cup: it is the Venturer LT (Cape York Edition)

Just got back from a weekend of wind, rain and hail without a leak  :D

I purchased in August with all the bells and whistles and loving it.
