Doesn't surprise me his death was kept from the public
His family coped a pizzling when he was charged, and later found to be guilty.

There's no Great Evil conspiracy against consumers within engineering, manufacturing and supply. Just the many tradeoffs incurred to satisfy diverse tastes, priorities and wallets. But first comes all the insatiable Gummint eggsperts, nanny-staters and usual suspects.

Wife of Slim has gone

Australian country music legend – and wife to the late Slim Dusty – Joy McKean has died at the age of 93.

McKean’s record company EMI made the announcement today, revealing that McKean, known as as the “grand lady” of Australian country music, had died yesterday following a long battle with cancer.

Mid 80's, we use to head to the Wollongbar Drive In, between Lismore & Alstonville, A mate had 56 Customline 4 door, ya could squeeze a ton of people in it. Another mate had 69 Fairlane and I had my XY Fairmont wagon, a couple of other cars and most of Byron would be there.
Great memories.

Hi,
One of the radio apprentices at RAAF Laverton rigged up a device to listen to the audio going to all the speakers at the local drive in. The screen could be seen from the road in,  and as there was little traffic going in after the movie started he would park at the entrance and watch the movie from there, with sound.
Cheers

“We’re not going anywhere!” it reads. “Recent news articles claiming that Hills has gone into administration relate to Hills Limited, a completely different organisation that has not been involved with Hills clotheslines (including the hoist) for many years.

Geeze. it's not like News.com to have a clickbait headline like that  ;)
