and here we have another example...

we have an australian woman, winning the US Open, and there has been little to no coverage...

https://www.foxsports.com.au/golf/us-womens-open-2022-golf-scores-leaderboard-winner-minjee-lee-wins-second-major-world-rankings-past-australian-winners/news-story/06463f4db7e8640394e703c2dd6f3528

a great achievement, just like Jai's...

but, golf, like cycling, is a niche sport when it comes to overall popularity and coverage.

it just is, whether we like it or not.

I must have missed the "memo" saying that it is a "niche" sport.

It maybe popular with your crowd as your all into bikes...
but I could ask any of my mate who he was and I'd get a blank look.

I heard about her winning on the news this morning and think it's fantastic.

I don't have Fox Sky or ESPN, so won't ever know if there was something on Pay TV.

Troy Bayliss is a top cyclist in his own right in this country and races at the Elite level in the off season, how many know that? It's all about acknowledging those that do well, instead of reading pages and pages about boofhead football players, that can't behave.

I made a mistake, it's Troy Herofoss but Bali's also rode.

Would genuinely love to see more of that type of athlete get recognition.

No argument from me.

Now, like D4D says… back to bikes… which is what I should probably do… :)

Thanks, I'm still playing with the pressures. At this point I prefer my previous Zipp 303 Firecrest...

It's hard to say but are you running the same tyres and adjusted the bearing tightness on the Dura Ace?  :-\

Yeah same tyres etc. The internal rim width is narrower on the DA rims so the tyres a pinched a bit which budges the sidewalls out in turn making them roll more on the corners.

My Wahoo can be setup for movement notification and live feed but if that is removed or the battery goes flat I'm stuffed.

That is a bit like a  tracker that you can put on a car but I'm pretty sure there is one that can be located under the seat or in the seat post also.

There's the Knog Scout - https://www.knog.com/pages/scout-bike-alarm-and-finder

but, I reckon it must use the AirTag system, because it's iPhone only, and uses the Find My thing in iOS...
