Does anyone have any tips on keeping kids in the tent?
We've got a 3yo and 6mo. Did a week camping and the 3yo couldn't be trusted to stay in the tent, when he woke up at sparrows.
6mo was very well behaved at least!
We have an Outback Sturt, with the 3yo in the extra bedroom to the side. Both doors are double vertical zips that go down, so we can't just put the zips up the top where he can't reach.
Love to know any ideas.

Put a peg in the ground at the bottom of the zip
Then loop a cable tie or a bit of string around it
I'm sure he'll figure it out in time but may give you some reprieve

Are they a zip on each side of the door, so that you have two zip "heads" (?) together ???
Twist tie through the loop on the two zip pullers ???

Yea, I thought the same. Or, if a metal puller, perhaps a wire from the auxiliary battery? :D

Is there a pull tab sewn into the end of the zip you can tie something through?
Or maybe you can suspend his sleeping bag be off the ground so he can't get out! ;D

Get up before him - that'll fix him !!

nail guns work well
or you could try some steel braid to hog tie him

I'm not following this one, how does it stop the zip opening?
Peg + zip tie is a good idea. Should last long enough until he's old enough to understand not to go out

We zipped all the zips to the top of the door, the kids could not reach them. kept them in or out when needed. These days they are in their own swags, much better arrangement. Although I still hear them get in and out if them no matter the time.

I was thinking along the lines of this, but with a twist tie through the holes at the end of the zip puller tab, where they've got puller cords here, holding the two zips together.

By the sounds of it, there is only a single zip, down for closed, up for open, with two pullers, one internal, one external.
