Gday From Tassie
« on: April 20, 2014, 06:49:47 PM »
G'day G'day.
How are we all?

Been looking around for a little while now & thought its about time I joined up so I did & here I am.

Found lots of info that will be useful as I go through the building process of my Camper trailer. Plan is to build a trailer that I can use every other day but then slip a tent on top when we head away for extended trips.
Anyway enough for now back to researching more as I plan the build.

Cheers
Bart

Welcome Bart,
You are sure to get some great insider knowledge here. People have been putting together all sorts of trailers and the advice is generally excellent. My first piece of advice though (and I'm ducking already) - if you want some fun all you need to do is ask for electrical advice

G'day Pete.
Wow what a story, glad to hear that even with the set backs you have had your still getting out there & living the dream. Hats off to ya.

I'm interested in the tent you have if you wish to pm some details & maybe we could meet up so I can have a look.

Welcome Bart - near Devonport are you ? I work in Devonport and live 15 minutes east of Devonport, steer clear from most of the members south of Devonport as a few of them are into naked man cuddles

Good to see all these tassie members.

Born and bred north west coast boy but moved to he "big island" about 7 years ago.

We are thinking we might pack the trailer onto the spirit at Christmas time and show the kids around the best camping spots I went to as a kid.

Cheers one and all and happy camping  ;D

Well been busy with work & dodging the weather.
Trailer build is still in the design & planning stage, as soon as I have that all sorted I'll start a build thread..
