Hi "MySwaggers"!!

We are new to the site, and have just put a deposit on a Complete Campsite Kakadu XT 16"!! The family is me (Brad), my wife Amy and our 2 daughters Billie (2 1/2) and Charlee (7mths).

We are taking delivery of our CT in March 2012, we requested a longer delivery as we are looking at travelling in 2013 for 2 years so dont need it right away  ;D

We plan on travelling around Oz 'completing' all the main 4WD treks and enjoying a wonderful family experience!

MySwag has already helped us with answers to some of our questions but I look forward to asking many more and hope I may even help others in the future.

Cheers,
Brad and family.

Thank you Janbo! This is a fantastic site, and we have got so much useful information from it about CT's and tow vehicles already, but it is good to finally be member.
D4D - no, the banks in the area are safe... for now, we may need to before we finally set off, especially having 2 daughters.
We arent planning on leaving for approx 1 year, we are just in the exciting beginning stages, deposit on new CT done, but so much more to do/plan/buy and SAVE!

Cheers,
Brad.

Hi Brad, welcome the the forum and welcome to the Complete Campsite family, the are a few of us here.  I also have a Kakadu XT 16.  Mine is now just on one year old so it's the Grey colour and not prissy white ;D, I am sure you are going to love it, well built and we take ours off road every where we go, just recently back from Cameron Corner, Lake Eyre and Flinders Rangers, didn't miss a beat and gotta love that Diesel heater on those cold desert nights.

Hi Brad, ignore CRW & his "prissy white" comment - he is just jealous he doesn't have the current model  ;D ;D ;D
Anyway, welcome to MySwag from another happy Complete Campsite owner

BTW, you might want to get an extra bayonet point at the back in case you want to run a Webber or similar at the same time as the cooktop - very handy extra
cheers

Thank you for everybodies responses and for making us feel welcome, it is good to be part of such a friendly and knowledgeable group.
CRW-is it as prissy as a white 200 series? (just joking, wish we could afford one but one big purchase at a time)
So good to hear there are happy complete campsite owners out there enjoying this beautiful country.

You're welcome. Easier to get it done during manufacture rather than later on. Also, we got a shelf put in the right rear locker (the locker opposite the gas bottle storage)
