Kings springs  Molendiner  did some custom height /  Diameter / poundage coils for my Escort race car years ago .. Wasnt overly expensive either  ..
Reasonably quick turn around and were quite good to talk with RE the type of rate / poundage and why / what racing / weight of the car
etc they were going to be used for ..

Thanks Mr Edz, Yes trying to work out a deal with Dobersons, If not interested they were my next port of call, I was looking at getting airbags with Kevlar covers, But my brother inlaw turned up yesterday said his drove him mad in the back of his Nissan patrol for what we do, the mud and rocks just stuffed his in no time, Craig

Dobinsons are Lovells rebranded, best just to go to Lovells direct :)

They are both springworks in their own right with their own manufacturing facilities. They may share some lines, but to say that Dobinson’s are just rebranded Lovells is grossly inaccurate.

Hi all, After a week or so of back and forth talks with Dobbos at head office trying to get a deal out of them for some write ups and stuff that plug them, Well that did not happen,  In the end I said just give me a price or do not waist my time, so just got a price on the 800kg 2inch back coils delivered to Cooroy, At the start they said 13 weeks before they do another run of custom stuff, that was fine as really only needed them for my Cape trip next year, Well old mate had a look on the Computer and there warehouse stock and they had a set ready to go, So he got my address and they head off this arvo, $366 delivered, Oh I spoke to Kings they were not interested at all, never rung anybody else as did not the same crap Kings gave me, Craig

That’s a win then, even without the deal !

Thats right Plusnq, , would of been good to get them for cost or a bit of discount, But see how they go if to rough still have old ones, just put the 800s in for trips up north loaded towing 5m loaded, But I will see if the cunning bugger just sold me 600kg ones as its funny how they had them in stock when two days ago were special order, Craig

Hi all, My coils turned up yesterday, got them out the box and they look Identical to the ones I have in there , So I PM Dobbos I said hay you tight asses did you just send me 600kg constants and think I would not notice they look just the same, No they said they are 3inch lift, and yours are 2inch lift, the extra one 1inch lift gives you the higher kg rating when the weight is put in your 4wd and sitting a bit higher and when I load it up on private lands holds the weight better,  Oh well learn something new each day, said thank you, will see how they go, put them in soon, Craig
