Hi Guys,
Thought we would put up a link to our blog for people who may be interested in our trip from last year.
There may be some things of interest or ideas which may help.

I notice you took a dog

How was the trip with one ? did you have any issues going places?

I don't think they took a dog with them. They wouldn't have been able to take it to quite a few of the places that they went ie: Undara, Lakefield NP, Twin/Eliot Falls, Chili Beach

No the dog's stayed home.

The dog in the photo would of been Eddy's dog from Elim beach.

Oh and we are the other idiots in the photo's that was with Mick and Ange.
Never ending.

It was great. We got feed once a day and a special treat if we were good and did a trick. They even pulled over for regular pee stops. We also enjoy laying around the camp fire. Some times I even got to sit in mick's lap and snuggled and he patted me.
Never ending.

^Oh dear...I think that might be a little too much information... ;D

Ange...would you be able tell me what the name of the CP you stayed at in Cairns is? And anything else about it that you liked/disliked?

Cheers...

Hi Duchess

We ended out at the Lake Placid Caravan Park which was very nice, and just a little bit out of town. We just found that the sites were very squeezy for camper trailers with awnings. Between the two of us, we took up three sites and our awnings were almost touching. We'd looked at another one first and their sites seemed even tighter. We did learn that it is a good idea to pre-book in Cairns at that time of year :D

The facilities were good, clean and plentiful! Other than that, there isn't much to tell. We didn't really spend that much time there :)
