Mark     I have carried a battery across the Jardine River over 20 years ago right where we camped last year. Lucklily didnt see any crocs. The water is only waste deep except on the northern bank it was a little deeper right in front of the exit. I dont think I would like to do it again though so will leave it to Bert.

Just got off the phone to a mate of mine, and it looks like I now have a winch bitch coming along as well.  He'll be swagging too so won't take up much room.

So add Brendan to the list of names ;D

Just had a call from Seisia Caravan Park.

They have changed the set up for the huts. They explained that you can camp next to the huts in campers and they have now setup power separate from the huts. they have also mentioned they have grassed some areas.

I explained that we want 2 camper trailers allocated for each hut ( except hut 2 which has a bigger area ) and no one else to be thrown in front of us. She came back and said that the members with swags and tents can have the huts but camper trailer owners may have to share the huts with other people ie other campers. Then she said that we will have the whole beachfront. I have asked her to clarify with some more information.

Stay tuned.....

Hi Mark

Just read your last blog on the huts. I remember last year sharing a hut with Dougie (Hut 3)  we had 2 camper trailers and 5 people between us and there was miles of room both in the hut and surrounding area for more campers. In need I reckon we could easily squeeeze 4 campers per hut. Just my thoughts.

Update....

I have moved some members to other huts where there is plenty of room. This way everyone will have breezes and water views.

At the most there will be 3 campers per hut. I have sent the list to Seisia Van Park and waiting their reply.

Some members have moved, some haven't.

Regarding Hut 7 Martin will set up his camper on the right hand side of the hut as Hut 6 is close by and will give members room to setup thier camper. I have attached the photo between hut 7 and hut 6. (Red car left hand side is parked between Hut 7 and Hut 6)

Hi Martin,

I see you are stuck with me in hut 7. Be good to see you again and I hope you catch another barra for dinner.
