The lagerita cocktail is a fine concoction and was recently thrust in to the spotlight thanks to Nigella Lawson serving them up on her show, embarrassingly simple recipe:

Get a bottle of beer (take a swig to make room for the good bits).

Add one shot of tequila, one shot of orange liqueur [i.e. Cointreau], one shot of lime cordial and add fresh lime to serve.

now a campsite favourite and sure you wil all enjoy, just make sure your sitting down by the third!.  :cup:
smile and wave boys..... :)

Anyone got a good cocktail recipe that they are will to share. I've always drank beer or spirits. Sometimes mixed together, but I can't remember what they tasted like mixed.

Does honey Jim Beam count?

PM if you have one.

Looks like I will have to try everyone else's cocktails or be satified with beer, beer,  beeer,   beeerrr, a couple of flavours of Jim Beam, vodka or what every I see that I like in our new Dan Murphy store.

Bert ......... hit the local pub and try a couple ...... start with a Sherlie Temple followed by a Cosmopolitan or anything with Campari in it ;D Seriously you need to just try a couple and see what you like.

Some classics are :-
Pina colada
Daiquiri
Martini
Fruit Tingle
Long Island Ice Tea
Blue Lagoon
Grasshopper
B52
CSC
Slippery Nipple
Snake Eyes
Atomic Bomb

Or even try some of the following web sites (Google is your friend)

Mark   I think it is time that you posted that photo of Bert after the Seisha fishing trip. You know the one, him asleep under the tree in the middle of the day surrounded by empy beer cans.

Mr Mcgirr in your expert opinion how do you rate the following,

1...Black Russian - Ice, Kahlau and vodka
2...B52 - Kahlau and Baileys
3...White Russian - Baileys, Vodka and milk
4...Name censused - Bourbon, Baileys and whipped cream.

YOU'LL KEEP

The B52 are great also black Russian.

Remember you have to carry this alcohol all the way so maybe try one or too and stick with that.

We are putting the vodka and Malibu in plastic coke bottles for easy travel.

I've already got a few bottles of Jim Beam put a way. I'll do what you've said with the vodka.
