Title: 'Nother Newby from NSW
Post by: Lou on May 25, 2016, 03:49:59 PM
Hi all,
I'm Lou. Although I'm not a stranger to camping, I bought my first camper trailer on the weekend.. My mate upgraded so I proffed the Leisure Matters Trooper trailer and I'm well impressed (he only used it three times). So I've got the trailer with the kitchen and all the business - but am thinking that I need some solar power to run the gin and tonic maker.. So can anyone suggest a good set up? The trailer comes with a deep cycle battery, is there a thing as too much solar?
I use a 2016 Kia Sportage 2L Turbo diesel (Redarc electric brakes) to tow the beast with and live in Spring Farm (I note there's a few members around here)...
Happy trails
Lou

G'day Lou and welcome to myswag.  More solar is always better, particularly for crappy weather days.

Happy camping

Welcome to MySwag Lou, get out and enjoy the new camper. PM Jetcrew on the forum for some great solar panels, you can never have too much
