Title: Project "Hitch Up for Cheer Up"
Post by: Renfrew on March 06, 2019, 11:21:49 AM
Good day to you all,

Have you considered driving to the Cloncurry, Julia Creek, Hughenden & Winton region?

They need help.

Camper Trailer owners are noted for their friendliness, compassion & support the graziers, farmers & townspeople require.

As Friendly RV towns, that have provided low cost camping & facilities, now is the opportunity to repay their friendliness.

So spread the word & let a swarm of campers provide mateship that Aussies are note for.

A good idea and I hope that it gains some traction.
We will definately be trying our best when we go through there in a few months

Good idea so long as the RV folk stop and put their hand in their pockets.
Another great idea is hook up on a BlazeAid camp. Plenty in Qld and some kicking off in Vic as we speak

Presently working with Kevin Butler of Blazeaid, as well as  Aust. Motorhoming Lion Club with their "Longest Line" project from Barcaldine to Aramac in May.

We anticipate mobile travellers will be accommodated at various farms/stations to provide comfort, support & assistance to the families in need.

The arrangements at the 4 devastated towns when able will provide further details, that will be passed on to you all.
