I'm not a fan of that site, to me they appear to beat it up the story & sensationalize things. I assume to garner more views/likes (= more advert $$$  >:D)

Yeah, the 40 - 60mm we were supposed to be getting over these 2 days has now been dropped to 15 - 30, & we had 12mm of that overnight.

Nice drink for the garden though ;D

Adelaide Hills copped anywhere between 50 and 70mm yesterday, some places had 50mm in an hour, lots of localised flooding. South eastern freeway, normally 110kmh zone pulled down to 40kmh due to the hail which covered the highway.

WHAT.... did you say?  :D

I see we're in for the best of the storms today.

Yesterday, we had a wicked cell start to form right above us. (its happened a couple of times now)
Must be the lay of the land or the wind or something.

It was building above us for maybe 3 minutes, then shot off towards Ipswich.
The further it went, the worse it was getting too..... i was glad to see the arse of it.

I do have a funny feeling however, we may cop  a good one today.
So much so, with out bathroom windows having little protection from hail.

I've braced and popped an old screen door over the window for the night.
I might get the ol girl to make some shutters for that window.... or shudders, as the young folk pronounce it.

Yeah, we had a ripper of an electrical storm overnight, that took out our power for ~3 hours, & we also got 18mm out of it.

You get any rain, Jeeps ???

We've been lucky, storms have gone either side so far.
Only 14mm over the whole week.

HOWEVER..... i'm not feeling we are going to be missed today.
I think the Dalby cell will get us unless a big wind blows it the other way.

the Dalby cell has split and we should just get rain with any luck.

Mind you, its hard to tell sometimes.
Weatherzone is showing a third cell.
