Fishing the Cape
« on: June 19, 2011, 10:59:11 AM »
Make sure you take heavy line along as there are some monster fish that will snap any weak line. Traces are needed for sure.

Regarding bait I will use the cast net as there are plenty of bait under the jetty up there.

So what size rods???  :'( :'( :'(

I think I will need to buy so heavy line in Cairns. My rods only have 10kg line and I was going to ask what terminal tack we would need and pick some up in Cairns. Don't normally fish for stuff that big in Mexico (sorry Melbourne).
