« on: December 30, 2013, 03:16:42 PM »
On my most recent trip away i noticed on a few parts of my canvass i can see pinpricks of light where the stitching holes are does this mean it needs to be resewn or can i just hit it with the canvas wax stick

No leaks seem to come through the areas in question

If your tent is good quality cotton canvas, seasoning it will close these needle holes.  Just need to wet and dry the area a couple of times.   This should shrink the needle holes.  If it is a cotton/polyester blend (like a lot of imported rip stop canvas is), seasoning is not as successful but does work to a lesser degree.

If you're not getting leaks, I wouldn't worry about it.

If it starts to leak, wax stick 'em...
