Yep it’s rooted,  >:( >:(

Happy dance time.  ;D Those tests are so smooth, there is no friction. The front is smoother than normal stuff but just not at the level of the Oil Slick finish.  8) That's $569 worth of gear there and people thing that other sports are expensive.  :o

COVID lockdown project bike #2 ready to build. Turbo saddle on order and spokes suppled by wheel builder.

Now complete, not bad for a 30 year old frame and groupset.

Nice, what pedals you gunna run? Those tyres are fast also but not so sure about punctures on nasty stuff.

I have a mint set of 6400 pedals and toe clips for show, and a set of current Ultegra clipless pedals for go. Tyres are the 'Control' version so they're supposed to be tougher. It won't get ridden much.

Need to chase up a set Detto's or Sidi shoes from the 70's/80's for rides when there are same vintage get togethers.  ;)

I have a set of Giro Empire clipless shoes that are laced so they look old school. I have been on the lookout for a pair of Sidi but they're worth diamonds in good condition.

New bike day for me. It finally turned up after a 6.5 week wait. Took me a couple of afternoons to add the frame protection and bits and bobs.
Mods so far are........
Shimano front chain guide
Entity PP15 flat pedals
DYEDBRO white camo frame protection
Ergon GA3 grips
Azur bottle cage
Everything bar frame protection and the chain guide came off my Trek.
Had to shorten the dropper post cable by about 350mm and the brake hose routing for the rear brake needs to be changed to the other side of the frame. I'll reroute it at a later date when it's due for a brake service. Other than a few laps around the block to bed the brakes in, I haven't ridden it in anger. Hopefully later this afternoon I'll get to christen it.
Cheers, Mike.

And before you all bag me out, I know the valve stems aren't lined up. It's on the list. Just didn't feel like breaking beads and spinning tyres.
