Hi Bart

Is the ensuite plumbing kit still available?  I couldn't find it anywhere on the website.

Cheers

The Ensuite Plumbing isn't available right now but you could feed the shower hose into the tent for the time being :) Not sure on the ETA yet  ??? but fingers crossed for the next 2-3 months

Would love a drawbar mount, are they still made? I can't seem to find somewhere to hang the Joolca which doesn't result in it falling over in-use.

Not being made anymore :( as the new Aussie regs don't allow mounting brackets (or any mounting material) to be supplied with portable water heaters. On one hand it's like 'come on' - on the other I think the gas chaps came across some cases where people were mounting the units in some very unsafe ways/ places (this is just what I assume) so it's fair enough from a safety perspective

Our new model units will come with a stand and I think our products team are working on back compatible stands for current style units (solving the 'how do I keep this thing upright' issue)

If your unit has mounting brackets I can do my best to try dig up some specs for our draw bar mounts for you to DIY one yourself?

Thanks for the offer Bart but my DIY skills are sub-par to say the least, I have the handle unit the same as the picture on https://www.joolca.com.au/pages/hottap which tends to slide around on the things I can find to put it on.

It's 100% my fault, not blaming the product at all, just looking for a solution.

My current best idea is bending up some alluminium in a shallow S shape that is nearly as wide as the handle and bolting it to something so that once hung the unit won't move around so much.

Just need to find the bolts, alloy, something to bend it with and somewhere to bolt it to, easy.

Hi Bart, as promised the new Hottap had its first outing over the last 4 days.
We think this is the best bit of kit for bush camping ever, could not fault any aspect of this unit, hot showers after a long day BRILLIANT.

Hey SnakeDoctor..  I have an old joolca draw bar mount which we have never used.  Bart was awesome enough to help me out today and in the interest of paying it forward you’re welcome to this mount thing if you still need it?

Damn, the ensuite plumbing would be ace for your set up

Not 100% sure at this stage. I recently asked our prod team for an update and was told we're working on packaging and some of the marketing stuff. Kinda sucks that I can't give a rough date but I know we've pushed this back multiple times already

One of the guys is making a contact list to send out an update once the kit is out. Feel free (anyone else also feel free) to email Emre at support@joolca.com.au and ask to be added to the list

Good question - I'd give our store finder a crack to see what's closest to you (just give the store a buzz before hand to see if they have stock/ a display)

Top of my head I don't actually know who has a display up - sorry  ??? ???

Hi Bart,
It appears the double shower tent now doesn't come with a fly - the new tent shows a vent in the roof - does it seal off so no water gets in during rain spells?  - did the tent colour change from blue to the grey colour as per your web site - is the grey the only colour available.
Could you please give me a price for the double shower tent delivered to 2316 and your contact details so I can pay for unit.
Thanks for your help, John

Gazman,  I have seen the Joolca double en-suites in Tentworld.  I know the one in Midland has a few as I almost took one off their hands last week.

Hey John :)

That's right, the new tent doesn't come with a fly and those vents (effectively windows) can be closed up and sealed so no water gets in. It zips up from the inside of the tent. You can also get the awning accessory which sits over the top of the double tent and then provides a little shelter space (and one wind wall) out front

Yeah - we went from the blue tents to these grey tents (these are the latest version) and ended up introducing a single tent too (a decent amount of wiggle room inside to be honest)

I'll reply to your PM in a few  :cup:
