Hi guys - happy to supply my $2 worth..

I have recently purchased a LCT AT-11 so that puts me in the "hybrid group"...

I was fortunate that I managed to fluke a near new "pre-loved" AT-11 for $43.5K...    It was fully optioned up and new; would have cost approx $60K...     The 43.5K also came with 3 x new wheels and tyres and new 120a/hr batt; and 12 months rego...

The cheap price for me was not so much because hybrids automatically devalue imho...   The previous owner was flicking it for an AT-12...  so "didn't care"...     Lucky BaseCamp!      ;D

Anyway - I had not even heard of LCT before reading about them on this forum...

For me; I wanted something very robust; that came from a company with great ethics and attitude; SEQ based, a bonus; 'at the right price'; solid bedroom walls and roof; relatively light and easy to tow with a 2.4ltr truck with the driver never having towed before in his life; and of equal importance; would "compact down into a smallish box"...

So - the LCT AT-11 hybrid ticked all those boxes for me...      :cup:

You get out and in to the world -- you take more @#&$. …You climb a little higher, ..you take less @#&$.  …Till one day -- you're up in the rarefied atmosphere -- and you've forgotten what @#&$ even looks like….  Welcome to the layer cake son.

Swannie  lf you can confuse a pair of socks marked  " left & right  "   then what chance do we have of out smarting you      ??? . Do you have " Left   &  Right  " marked on your feet    ???    lf the socks are wool  , they have come from sheep .  That's not really smart to brag about out smarting sheep by products   , possibly dumber than a  " Hat full of ,,,,,,,,,,)

Solved that problem. Just keep my opinions to myself - that's why I love Myswag so much as it gives me a chance to have my say.

You really don't know do you  ???

This would take a considerable amount of time around a Camp Fire.
Have any of us got that sort of time to spare

So what is the difference between flammable and highly inflammable - doesn't make any sense, at least not grammatically. Mac

Why do camper manufacturers put big chunky mud tyres on campers?
Is it to give the appearance of extreme offroadability?

That could be the only reason as there are of no advantage, however I have All Terrains on my camper which are matched to the Cruiser to be able to rotate or use as additional spares if needed

and that is the reason my camper has muddies on it, same rims and tyres to match my tow rig.

I'm looking to fit some straps to the bed base of the Customline to keep the cover from billowing. I thought it would be an easy task to find the side release buckle straps on eBay, apparently not. Anybody know of somewhere I can buy these cheap? Plan is to cut off the buckle ends (4) and fit them to the underside of the bed base. Then have one strap that goes over each end.

I usually buy Just Straps gear, however in this case as I am going to cut them up I don't want to pay diamonds for them...

Brickiematt I think fitted straps when he had the aussiejays for same reason. Not sure how he did it or where he got them. I think we will have to do something with ours too most of the side straps are breaking.

Ebay for the clips. If you want the webbing let me know how much and I will post some down. I reckon I have about 15 to 20 metres on a roll.

Why do hairdryers in motels have "Do not immerse in water" labels on them?

Why is it that the tiny little speed camera signs always seem to fall over?

Oh and the important one
