Looking to buy a hard floor camper looking at either a pioneer prospector or a cub kamparoo brumby which is the best one out of the two?

Thanks

They're both alright. For my money I'd go with the Pioneer just on the basis of construction.

x2

We've got an Argyle and it's rock solid.

We had a good look at Cub's at the caravan and camping show at our time of purpose and the Pioneer's were more solid in comparison.  Probably the bigger seller of the Pioneer was the layout and features suited our type of camping.

When we purchased ours Pioneers were constructed in WA so we didn't have to pay freight costs.  Pioneer's are now constructed in Melbourne so you may be able to pickup direct from them.

I'd recommend you get to a camping show where they're side by side so you can really give the tyres a good kick.

Looking forward to seeing whatever you get in the 'my camper' section

cheers

Both are light enough to be true off roaders.

Only you can decide which suits you, your use and your budget..  Go play with both and see which you like best.

Personally I like the brumby as I like that the storage box on the front has the fridge slide and the pantry slide next to the kitchen....

I have a CUB and have dragged it all over the place and trust it..   I did look at a Pioneer before but wasn't really impressed.

We have a Pioneer Argyle SE and we are happy with it and  with the way it handles  the rough  and will  shortly be taking it on a 12 month trip around Australia.

We have a cub Supamatic. Left out a few bits when we bought it simply because we preferred different style. Just had a drifta fit-out. Love the way it tows having just done bne-gloucester-bne. Can't wait to now take it out camping!

Have spent many months looking at the CUB and PIONEER, in the end the CUB Brumby will most likely be the choice. The Pioneer does look more robust but the Brumby is still well made and is better organised regarding front box etc. The Brumby also allows for you to leave the awning attached during pack up where the Pioneer needs to be removed each time. Even with the rear wheel swing away Brumby is cheaper and I believe better value for money. At the end of the day it is all about what you think best suits you and the particular features that you want or need, they both have their good and bad points either one will give you an awesome oportunity to see this incredible country we fortunately to call home. :)

Another vote for the Brumby! Very hard to fault it and the price is reasonable.
