Ok you blokes, buggar off.
Still paying $1.30 here(Grafton).      >:D
saw plenty of places between Dubbo and Brisbane selling for not much less then that in the last 24hrs, so you're not alone in those prices. Cheapest we saw between Melbourne and Brissy in last 2 days on our inland run was $1.13ltr I think it was, and that was in NSW down towards Victorian boarder from memory, got dearer the further North we went with most around $1.24ltr

Good score,
But it's still about $1.20 on average here in Grafton.
Should be about 70 cents going be past figures of dollar and price per barrel.
What can I do about it, SFA
I need it, and they know it.
I do about 400k's a week on average just going to work & back. 91 80 series 1htd(8km/l or there abouts).
Yes it has helped heaps since it topped $1.70 per litre.
But why are we being screwed  ???
Sorry stupid question.  :-[

Geez i've been happy my local BP has been $1.16.9 since well before Xmas, but that just shows how much the servo's are ripping people off when other places can sell it for that price. I know the servo at Aussie World up the Sunny Coast has been $1.11.9 all around the Xmas period, which makes you wonder how other places here in Brisbane have been $1.29.9 for the same stuff.

I never pay too much attention to fuel prices. $1:38 at Caltex, Eden. Only realised when i looked at the pump after filling up. (Unleaded was $1:19)
The 2 other servos in Eden were $1:12  & $1:19 for diesel.

In Shepparton at the Benalla Rd round about  there is a fuel filler that is unmaned  .
Stick your card in tell it how much you think you need , Pin  Pump & go
& all this for $1.089 Diesel . That's 6 to 8c cheaper than town & you don't have to buy  " Stuff " at coles or woollies  or a bag of lollies 1st

108.9 at the BP in Boyne Island, around $1.20 in Gladstone though. Didn't see it for much less than 108.9 between here and Brisbane over the weekend.

Just came across this from one of the economics guys at work...

Confirms most peoples suspicions hey...

Brent Oil is the white line (in AUD terms) against the average weekly national fuel price.

Cheapest Diesel I have seen in Brissy now is $1.13.9 at my local BP, yet Aussie World is still $1.05.9 and several servos in Gympie on the weekend I saw were $1.06.9 and $1.07.9....we are getting gouged here in Brisbane at the cheapest rate, let alone what the majority of other servos here are charging.

Canberra is an interesting place fuel wise.
In the burbs it is about $1.22 to $1.25 but if you head to Fyshwick Metro has it for about $0.10 - $0.15 cheaper and Costco is about $1.00 at the moment.

I don't understand how the price can vary so much. Two BP servos in Queanbeyan have a $0.10 price difference.

Last fill in brissy was under the $ for diesel at Costco.  Haven't paid over 105 for a fair while
