Looking for advice
« on: August 06, 2015, 12:35:10 PM »
Hi all,
New to the forum and looking for some advice on upgrading our CT. Have had an oztrail camper 7 for 2 years and done quite a few Ks in it. Looking for an upgrade but also unsure of decent brands - want something Auzzie.
Also maybe in the market for a hardfloor model, with pull out kitchen (which would make life so much easier!), more storage, space for fridge and water tank etc.
Drive a Landrover and live in Sydney but get around a bit.  Looking to spend max of $15k for something that will be around for a while. Currently husband & I and our dog, but that may change ;D
Any advice greatly appreciated :)
Emily

Hi Emily,
So does this mean you're in the market for a new husband too or are you hoping to trade the dog;D
My suggestion, while not hardfloor specifically is a Trackabout. Been some good preloved units for sale lately with low km's.

Here's one

Maybe a Cub or Pioneer hardfloor second hand would be - for that price - your closest bet if you're looking for a hard floor Aussie built.

Of course there is the Jayco range of wind up campers.

Otherwise soft floor you'll have much more choice in that price range.

There are more but Aussie brands but the main ones I know of include Vacation (I'm bias - obviously), Trackabout, Customline, Complete Campsite, Mountain Trail, Jimboomba, Lifestyle, Modcon off the top of my head.

Welcome to Myswag - will be interesting to see what you do...

Vacation Camper & McTavish surfboard - what more does a guy need??
