Aluminium canopy
« on: May 10, 2017, 05:57:59 PM »
Hi guys, does anyone know of a place that can build me an aluminium canopy for my hilux in adelaide that won't charge the earth? Most are around the $4000 mark and above.
Cheers.

$4000 is at the cheaper end of what aluminium canopies cost, about the cheapest I've seen is $3500 from a mob here in Brisbane. Most custom aluminium canopies are closer to the $10 -  $15K mark and above.

That's exactly what I'm talkin about. That sort of price is way out of my range. While I'm sure that they are awesome, I don't need it to be top of the line, it's just got to keep my gear sorted and dry.

MW Toolbox Centre. They have 3 stores in SA by the web page. Just had one made for my space cab. It 1800 x 1800(dual cab size). Cost me $4800 powder coated and delivered to Perth. Reasonable quality for the price compared to others in that price range. Reckon its worth the powder coating, much cooler (temp cool, not Fonzy cool) than bare aluminum.

Interesting, those guys started as a workshop in Sydney but their head office is now in Osborne Park WA.

We had their tool boxes on all of our service utes in our nation wide fleet years ago, but found it was cheaper to get them made in each state these days.
