About to put the OB Finch on the market
« on: November 14, 2015, 08:03:32 PM »
As the heading suggests, I'm about to put the Jayco OB Finch up for sale. RARE!!!!!!!!!!

Set up for free camping, simplicity and comfort.

With a few mods done but keeping the overall setup simple (KISS method) with minimal problems if not none to arise in the future, I have a price in mind but am keen to hear what fellow members think what sought of price I should advertise.

She is an 2002 model, with extended draw bar, aluminium frame, renowned strength of the upgraded OB extended chassi. Front and rear lockable professional checker plate rubber lined tool boxes. Dust proofed. Dust covers all round vents (fridge vents, battery vent and door)

Underneath camper has been water proofed

Internal canvas ends has been modded for insulation and to keep any side wall condensation, external heat and cold off bedding (few minutes set up)

External water tap

Internal gas stove and grill all work.

Currently riding on new 697 265/75/16's with near new Dynamic rims rated @ 1200kgs each. Can swap to original 15inch 235's rims (spare new and riding tyres 5000kms) for a a bit less.

3 way fridge works a treat, all LED lighting and full side annex ( no floor), treg hitch.

Side roll up bagged awning, front and rear bagged awnings.

Pegs for dirt and sand, rope with springs

Close to 750mm clearance from ground to floor of camper for water xings.

Portable quality step to combat hight of camper (fits in internal storage)

140 watt battery with anderson plug for vehicle or solar charging. Run on a projector charger.

Double innerspring mattress front and rear with condensation protection (clean mattress)

Bed end bases have been marine sealed.

New wheel/axle bearings 500kms ago with receipt of workmanship. Spare bearings.
Wind up box service with receipt of workmanship.
Canvas wax sealed inside/out including seams with 2L of wax to go.

9kg gas bottle and 2 x 20L fuel/water on draw bar. Plus 9kg gas bottle holder in front tool box.

Rear spare wheel carrier on rear draw bar.

Currently being towing behind a 80 Series with a 2in lift which sits level to the tug and tows smooth.

Set up for the GRR, Tanimi and Flinders such as Warraweena road entry which has been done.
