Anybody catch this today, just watched after recording it.
It will need to improve if I'm going to continue watching it, pretty short on content more an advertorial than a lifestyle program.
-
I recorded it. Yet to watch it back.

So it's the same as every other camping/fishing/4wd/caravan/outdoors shows that I stopped watching several years ago. I think I even upset Carlyle Rogers over some of my comments years ago >:(

I agree. Their promo for their social media sites played 3 times in a row at one point and another two times at least in the 30 minute show. We are doing the Darling River Run in a few weeks and was hoping to see more of the area.

Missed it as i was up at Gympie helping move house.....was hoping It'd be a good watch, I tried searching for it to watch lastnight but didn't appear to be available on catch up tv yet. The show is done by the same guys that do The Offroad Adventure Show, they were telling me about this show when we were doing some filming with them for TJM about 5 weeks ago.

I hope it improves dramatically. Not much happened in the half hour segment.

I’ve been watching a few episodes of 4WD Action of late and really enjoy them. They give products a plug but not in that overtly infomercial way. More along the lines of “so we hooked up the dominator winch and pulled ourselves out” than trying to explain every last feature in detail.

Watching it now...does seem to be more about It's sponsors then the trip they are on, which is a shame. We are doing a Darling River trip later this year, so was hoping to see heaps about it, but that hasn't been the case and I've only got 3 minutes left to watch

Same here. Even the boss loves 4WD action, and she doesn't like many 4WD/camping shows. I reckon 4WD action does a good balance of 4WD, camping, and showing you around the places they go.
They're extremely low on product pushing. Yeah you might hear the word dominator mentioned a dozen times on some episodes, but then other times they'll be like "Bob from xxx campers is along to try out his new rig" and then they literally never show it or talk about it.

I have watched a few episodes on their youtube channel recently, I had only ever heard bad things about it so had low expectations but have been pleasantly surprised, sure there are some things you could have a go at if you wanted to but all things considered I'll happily watch some more when I have the time.

It's on Tenplay...we have Telstra TV, so all the tv stations are on thier own apps there to watch stuff that's already aired. I assume you could go to Tenplay website and watch it also.
