i actually seriously would be looking to possibly grab a few small items that need replacing on our camper if someone is in that area that could grab them at all.....No point in bidding though if not. I’ll be driving down towards Newcastle at start of December, so could pick them up then if I did win them in auction.

might be worthwhile checking out the Kimberly Kampers Owners Group of FaceBook - https://www.facebook.com/groups/1447374758908253/?ref=bookmarks (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1447374758908253/?ref=bookmarks)

Quite a few of their members bought some very large "job lots" at the last auction (two weeks back I think) and they have set up a trading group for those that have surplus bits to their needs. Kimberley Kampers Buy Swap & Sell Items

might be helpful if you're only after a couple of specialist bits...

cheers...will get the Mrs Facebook account and have a look, i’m not on there myself.
I’m only after a new Easylift jockey wheel after I bent ours about a year ago moving the camper forward and forgetting I hadn’t wound it up yet (still works ok after I sledge hammered it straight, but the very last 50mm gets a touch tight to wind...not the end of the world, but if I can get one cheap enough then may aswell), and i’m after some front mud flaps if I find them (bit hard to search on the phone currently) as ours are starting to break after 8 years of travel on outback roads. The only other thing i’d be interested in is a front centre wall on the Kwik awning, if it was cheap enough i’d buy it so I have the whole enclosure come resale time, otherwise i’m not that interested in getting one as we never use the awnings walls ourself.

was looking on the net this morning, the same one that is on my camper that I am after had a 2 infront of your number....have only had a very quick look at prices, but for same rated jockey wheel that’s on the camper, i’m expecting to pay more then $40.

And the $40 was delivered as well. Couldn't believe my luck !!
I think they are probably the strongest wheel out there, including those twin wheel cheap chinese things people rave about.

most other jockey wheels would have broke with what I did to mine (bother the wheel and extendable pole section), i’m impressed with not only how well it held up with what I did to it, but also how well it mostly straightened back out again...lol.....took some belting though to straighten it.

So is any one bidding on this stuff?

There are some remarkable bargains to be had, it finishes tonight.

I looked thru the 10 pages of stuff and didn't see any bargains ?? Possibly the Indel 130 ltr fridge, but the final bids will be higher than at the moment..

come on.. the front and rear fiberglass shells that fit nothing ... would be great in the blokes room at home.

It looks like I am off to Ballina. I had no plans of bidding but the mattress looked good. I pulled out as the cumulative total passed $600. Got a set of ally poles and a full spare set of internal poles for less than $100 so happy enough with that.

40" Soniq TV just sold for $262, Brand new cost with warranty $299.  Would maybe fetch $100 on Gumtree.

was the $262 before or after the 20% auction fee is added in?

Was $229 sale price so actually $274 with Grays fee and $302 with the GST  ::)

On a separate note, Grays don't miss you do they, virtually add another third onto the finishing price

Thereabouts. I just multiplied by 1.3 to know what I was actually bidding. People were getting overexcited that’s for sure.
There was also a small credit card fee.

... and if you bid in the last minute like you can on ebay - dont they add another 5-10mins or dont they do that anymore?

auctions are a great day out watching suckers wiht no clue on what things are worth - well on par with the boat ramp entertainment!

yep, it's call "going, going" ..... they keep adding time as long as there is interest in the item.

I agree at some of the local auctions I go to I am always gobsmacked by the prices people pay for some things.

Same at this KK auction, but there were still some absolute bargains with some of the specialised parts, most people wouldn't even know what they were thats why they didn't go up. I wish I was near by.

I went to a farm one recently that had everything from a caravan, cars, heavy machinery to nuts bolts and everything in between as you would expect when some poor bugger has passed away and they sell everything.

It was a crap day so I was hoping to grab a bargain, I wanted one of the smaller bulldozers. It was worth about 5 grand as it was a POS but would have been perfect for what I wanted it for.........it was handed in at 20k
They walked around each and every item auctioning them off as they do and people were paying $100's for boxes of rusted nuts and bolts and Shit I am sure they would regret when they get home and have good look at what they bought!
There was a straight line sthil whipper snipper I had my eye on.....sold for nearly $200!
Some of the old Plow blades were selling for silly money.......I wanted one to make a fire pit but I can buy a commercial fire pit cheaper.

We ended up walking after about 70% of the auction as it was painful.

I still go to them though......because every now and then you come across something worth while.
