Title: Flat Panel Monitor

It's a long time since I've bought 1 so what's the best flat panel 27" monitor on the market today under about $250.00, or are they all about the same ?

For what its worth ..      We use a digital 100hz cheapy TV works fine

May be a case of take what you can get. Our work IT guys are telling us that there is a 6 month delay for the Dell ones that we use

yea we were told that too... I ordered 3 laptops 'incase' - they turned up in 2 weeks and the monitors ordered same order turned up before the laptops LOL..
We will see, Thursday I ordered for Brisbane office a Dell 24 Monitor - E2422HS $253... then again with floods that maynot be a good test lol.

At Home I've gone to the darkside, 2x Samsung Odyssey G5 QHD VA 144Hz Freesync Curved Monitor 27" $269... was dubious with the curved but happy now.

i have two 32" versions (similar) of these at work... they are good...

At home so have a 27inch curved MSI brand gaming spec and at work a 27inch curved Samsung.
The Samsung appears to be as clear as the MSI and was $100 cheaper

Aldi in Hastings, and possibly Somerville have some monitors for sale today. Sorry but didn't get the detailed info.
