Hi guys
Now I know that you swaggers are a generous bunch so I would like you to consider supporting this worthy cause.
Background:
I went to a boarding school at Lismore and one of my classmates unfortunately succumbed to this horrible disease. Not sure if any of you ever went to a boarding school but you make mates that you might not see for ten years but when you see them again it feels like it was only ten minutes ago.
Bob left school and went to Uni to learn his teaching craft and ended up teaching at our old school where he met up with Kim Evans (the rider) and became life long mates. Kim is the Assistant Principal at our school where Bob taught.
As a tribute to Bob and to raise money for MND, Kim is embarking on a bicycle ride around Oz with his mate Devil a Husky-German Shepherd Cross on 31/5/2013 leaving Lismore and heading in a Northerly direction. (wise move considering weather along the route)
It would be nice if you could donate a small amount or if you have time, to spur Kim on as he rides through your town.
