Is there to much money in Melbourne?
« on: February 21, 2013, 08:13:23 AM »
I've been searching around the usual places for a set of tyres as the rears are dead and still plenty up front. Qld seem to be selling plenty 35+ sizes....due to police crack downs.
But Melbourne wins by far! Plenty of brands, some look like they've driven home from the shop & advertised them same day.
Stuff all locals to me sadly so transport to Sydney will make the purchase less appealing. Even getting them to a major transport company is hard due to size.

I had 4 x Q78 swampers delivered from Brisbane to Melbourne last year and it worked out to $35 a tyres and that was picked up from sellers door and delivered to a depot in Melbourne.

Also had a set of Calais wheels and tyres x 5 shipped from Adelaide to Melbourne again door to depot and that was $110.

Both of these done through e-go.com.au
