G'day all
« on: March 18, 2013, 07:16:18 PM »
Hi everyone i've just started to look around for a c/t me budget is around $10k and i'm not sure if to go new or one a few years old with a few more bells and whistles, if its good quality and been looked after should be fine i'm thinking of going this way would like to get some thoughts and brands in sydney area.

Also somewhere good and not to pricey to get a tow bar, just got quoted $854 and $500 for a redarc remote brake controller fitted at ARB seems abit steep?

Any help would be great.

Welcome Hacksaw.  I would recommend looking for a good second hand locally made CT as your first purchase.  Seems to be plenty on the market at the moment.  I would hold off with the electric brake controller until you have made your purchase.  Maybe it will already have override brakes or  may not need them (lighter than 750kg).

Happy camping

Welcome hacksaw. As mentioned, it'd probably pay to hold off on the brake controller. As for your prices it'll all depend on the type of vehicle. Good luck with your CT hunt
