G'Day all from MUMSRIG
« on: July 10, 2012, 05:51:28 PM »
Hi there folks,

Thought we'd better introduce ourselves. Been lurking for a while now.

Mitch and Tam aka MUMSRIG. From WA but recently moved to NSW in downtown Muswellbrook.

We have a soft floor camper currently that we built up and have performed plenty of mods to. It's done us well over the last 5 years and we recently gave it an update last year with a respray, tailgate kitchen and new canvas before we did an 11000klm trip at the end of 2011 which prompted us to move to NSW.

Just this last weekend we purchased a 2008 Jayco Outback Swan after much debating on whether or not to get that or an Expanda. Couldn't justify the cost of a brand new one and this one has most of what we wanted..

I'll start a build thread soon as I can see that I will be performing some mods early in the piece..

Cheers

Mitch and Tam

Welcome Mitch an Tam. Another Jayco, they seem to be popular. We just bought an Eagle Outback and look forward to receiving it early September. Plenty of great info on here & people are very willing to answer any questions.

It always rains on tents. Rainstorms will travel thousands of miles, against prevailing winds for the opportunity to rain on a tent.

G'day & Welcome.

The Hunter is a hot spot for members too, so plenty of like minded folks near you, and so many great places to camp. Have you recently moved there?
