Do any of you kind people know any insurers who will do comprehensive insurance on a 4WD with TV registration plates? Tried all the mainstream mobs and found one, but they won't do off road. Sad
-
Have you tried TCIS they are/where 4wd specialist and cover campers as well with full off road cover.
i had my Pathie with them for a few years. only draw back was they didn't offer monthly payments like the others, but could arrange it if required.

I reckon you'd have to go a broker.
Perhaps try calling Britz etc and see who they use, might be worth a shot.

Try MGS Insurence. Contact Jamie Fegerson . www.mag.com . They do my work dealt with them for many years .

What's a 'TV' rego?
-
How strange, as one suspects that such insurance would be lower risk than normal vehicle insurance.
I can recommend a broker in Sydney, PM for details.

A vehicle registered for commercial operation, a bus for example. NSW Lingo.

Ah ok, I thought it might be a temp import from NZ etc.
I saw a new Audi A4 left hand drive with Netherland plates on it in the city the other day. NFI how he was allowed on the road.

Thanks guys. Broker we are using is having problems placing the insurance.
Bigjules will PM.

Plate numbers start with TV=Tourist Vehicle in NSW used for carrying passengers for reward.

There is bound to be an insurance company that's industry specific. Give your local car hire mob a call and ask. Can't hurt to give it a shot.
