as I've said before I'd love a good challenging 'adventure/puzzle' game where you have to work out things to find your way though.. but those sort of games aren't popular anymore.. only pointless shoot-em up games :(

That's why I like Myst.

Sadly most games appear to be based on just pointless shooting.. you get endless lives per game ETC.

Download zork. Great puzzle/adventure game... Just text based  :D

Bit of a blast from the past today, Crash Bandicoot on PS4 has just been released. Had to grab it! Had it on PS1 and liked it so looking forward to getting back into it now. Also interested to see what they mean by "remastered".

We have the Xbox One, must mention I don't do online (live type) gaming. Just solo unless it's like 2 player with the kids.

I didn't mind Far Cry 4, also played Primal, sold them after playing through. I would consider buying the next one, not at full price though.

Assasins Creed Syndicate, good game but got boring before completing it 100%

Recently purchased Watch Dogs, it was cheap, didn't sound like my kind of game but it was more enjoyable than FarCry that's for sure. I've only done a little bit of GTA, I think Watch Dogs is probably better.
Definitely interested in buying Watch Dogs 2

Fallout 4 and Fallout 3 were pretty good.

Currently playing Witcher 3 (Wild Hunt) I tend to like the open world games, but I think it's going to take a fair while to complete. Verdict is still out on that.

Have Star Wars Battlefront but haven't been enticed to play it properly yet, only done a couple of 2 player things with the kids.

Didn't like Gears of War that came with the console, I think COD is better. Halo 5 also came with it  as well but I traded it when we finished playing it. It was ok and at least it wasn't too hard to finish (I was probably on easy settings though, not great at first person shooters)

Tomb Raider is a game I liked the sound of, will probably buy down the track.
Forza 6, normally I'm into racing games but lost interest in this after a while. I'd probably keep it as it could be handy if the son has friend over as not many games are true 2 player games these days.

Got Lego Batman and Minecraft for the kids. I played the lego one for a bit but both games seem to have sat there mostly as daughter isn't that into xbox and son likes playing the games that I do (I'm the Mum not the Dad...daughter is like dad lol..they not into gaming).

Picked up Uncharted - the lost legacy today. Have to wait for SWMBO to knock off so I can go home and try it out now...

Anybody checked out CoD:WW2 yet ???

yes :( for me - bitterly disappointed - I bought the season pass setup too :(

By far the worst camping game I've ever come across. I'm a dom/kill confirmed/TDM /hardpoint SMG/Rifle kill ****s kind of gamer.. Worked for all COD's in the past.
I'm not a lay at the back of the map for 95% of the game and hope someone passes my crosshairs player - I ****in despise that Shit.. I mean these snipers you cannot even see a blip of their helmets 1/2 the time they are that far back out of the way

Black Ops 3 Shits on it. not by miles, but by galaxies.

Aimed at one market - to the point 'uplink' is now called Gridiron.

If your 12 yrs old and can only sniper - this is the game for you. Most maps are designed for camping and sniping..

Like standing at the back of an aircraft carrier behind a wall or on the bridge and just picking off anyone who actually like to play, hunt people down etc...

Another map - race to see who can get to the top and control a massive cannon train (https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/callofduty/images/a/a4/Gustav_Cannon_WWII.jpg) hiding behind walls that nobody but snipers or a random hand grenade can get you through and again picking them off... another map a road with a tram at each end with no windows, and you can snipe with barely any of your body/clothing showing and snipe, and you can go down each side through the buildings but usualy you get some twelvie camped at the end of each room picking people off.

There is one map where you can run through 'trenches' and actually attack each other.. but I've found a glitch where you can hide off the map in rocks and nobody can see you, you run along the top of the wall from end to end and its very hard to shoot you and you can just wipe people out from there. if you cant beat em... :(

London Docks is not bad, but down on the wharf section people just lay behind boxes and snipe. In the buildings the men get out and charge each other lots, so that is fun.

Shot guns now have incendiary rounds that seem to be able to shoot further than a rifle and you catch fire and burn :D

The 'War' game is 4-5 sections and can last 30 mins. they are ok, but can drag on...

Lots more challenges than the past CODs, daily, weekly, monthly for different care packages, which usually contain just new pictures on ya grips.. pretty much worthless.

Add to that there is a definite issue with connections and getting stuck in US lobbys where when you watch the kill cam what you saw and what they saw are 3-4 seconds different. Your screen shows a close fight, his screen shows him killing you and running off before you even begin to aim  your gun.

The graphics are good.

Would I buy it again, no ****in way.

Young bloke has been hanging out for it as a Chrissie present so hope he likes it - he almost always only plays single player so that may change things a bit ???

Still playing war mode in call of duty ww2 xbox. Depending on the teams skill some matches can get sweaty,  other can be easy,  but they are always a challenge

I haven't been able to find anything decent to play. Been getting back into The Last Of Us in anticipation for #2 to come out (sometime next year  :'( )

Still impatiently waiting for Red Dead 2 also...

I ended up playing through all of the Uncharted series that was a good game. I got the last Sonic the Hedgehog game also (SWMBO knew I was a fan from the Sega days). They have turned them into kids games now but still a bit of fun.

The only good thing about glitching, is glitching yourself and hunting down the other glitchers (preferably with a shotty)..  >:D Funny when someone gets stuck in a glitch though, sticking half in and half out of a wall. You can just walk up and sit a grenade under them, then go and watch from a safe distance... LOL
4.2L TD Toyota Troopy, (Clarke's Country Camper Trailer, softfloor.) sold it and bought a Avan Ray small poptop caravan. I miss being able to acces the little tracks off into the scrub.
