Upgrading from "L" Plates
« on: June 17, 2014, 10:34:13 AM »

Dear Mark VS

The trip to the Gulf was a chance for you to learn from the experts how to tackle dirt roads, water crossings, bulldust and washouts.

You achieved the ranking of " L Plates " from that trip but as you did arrive home safely you were upgraded to "Red P Plates"

This years challenge will be a lot harder and if you can survive the trip the judging panel will consider upgrading you to "Green P Plates"

Below is a picture of a Cape Traveller who also was recently inducted into the "Green P Plates" Hall of Fame.

If he does earn the upgrade, get him to shout the first round of drinks, as I know for a fact, he's carrying some extra cash that Mrs Jeepers gave him this morning.  ;D

Easy come, easy go.....

On the basis that i will have 3 women (not girls) in the car, and i am the solitary bloke, i think should automatically qualify me for my open licence!!

I dont see anyone else having done that on any previous McGirr Cape trip.  ;D

It’s a sign of the times Mark, regulatory and compliance implantation gone mad, you could shorten the process by taking Jeepers Creepers advice and buy a round of drinks

Have you gone past Townsville yet!

We are enjoying a BP burger in Townsville at the moment.  Watch out Cairns, the trouble is coming to town!

Spotted you Symon aka 6B&S on Mulgrave Road at 4.20pm near Earlville Shopping Centre.  You can't sneak into our town without us knowing, the eyes of the force :police: are on you.

You can stop looking over your shoulder now or maybe not. ha ha
